Vaults of the
Collector's Circle

Please indicate your vault of interest. Your choices fall into four themes: the Riviera, Montecito, Santa Barbara, and the Telephone Building.

I

Santa Barbara

Named for the landmarks and hidden corners of the American Riviera itself.

Riviera Vault

Perched high on Canon Vault's parapet like a condor soaring above the peaks of America's Riviera, enjoy the beauty and the protection that the Riviera Vault affords.

El Presidio

Bask in the security of your own private fortress. Virtus Honos.

Painted Cave

Painted Cave (named by the Chumash people as haxʼinu mupʰ nuwaštipa) is one of the largest sea caves in the world. Fill your cavern with the same color vibrancy found on the Painted Cave's mineral and algae-rich walls.

Salsipuedes

Leave this secret chamber if you can!

Refugio

This vault provides refuge, much like its namesake beach north of Santa Barbara.

II

Montecito

Names drawn from the storied estates and grounds of Montecito.

Montecito Vault

Serenity. Beauty. Wealth. Discretion. Power. The world is your oyster.

Riven Rock

A fabled former 87-acre estate dating from the Gilded Age, the estate earned the name "Riven Rock" because of a massive boulder near the front entrance that was split in two by an oak tree growing directly out of it. May this level of natural beauty and elegance grace your collection.

Golden Quadrangle

The "Golden Quadrangle" is the crown jewel of Montecito. What chef-d'oeuvre will you display in this quadrangle?

Hedgerow

Steeped in ivy-covered walls, towering hedges, and narrow, winding lanes, this labyrinth of Montecito estates is steps away from the Rosewood Miramar and Coast Village Road. Your collection will gleam on the rows within this gilded coffer.

Bellosguardo

The largest of our four windowed vaults, stage your favorite desk and enjoy a "beautiful lookout" while storing and preserving your valued possessions.

III

Places of Safety & Culture

The world's great vaults, strongholds, and citadels of discretion.

Zurich Vault

Zurich's status as an elite global banking powerhouse is the result of centuries of deliberate fiscal policy, political neutrality, and a legendary reputation for financial discretion. Zurich's oldest continuously operating bank, Rahn+Bodmer Co., was founded in 1750. Find tradition, discretion and power within the depths of this strongbox.

Geneva Vault

Geneva stands as a pillar of humanitarian values and is known for its natural beauty, luxury watchmaking, cultural depth, and exceptional quality of life. It is the birthplace of many legendary watchmakers like Rolex, Patek Philippe, and Vacheron Constantin. Your reputation for quality, luxury and fashion precedes you.

Gibraltar

Historically known as Calpe "The Rock" (and one of the mythical Pillars of Hercules), Gibraltar's sheer vertical rock walls and hidden caves have been used as a base of protection from invaders for centuries. This narrow strait allows safe passage between the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea. Enjoy protection from the vantage point of this mighty crag.

Malta

With temples older than the pyramids of Egypt, Malta is rich with history and culture. A perfect backdrop for your vault — is that a Maltese Cross hiding amongst your stored valuables?

Svalbard

Buried 400 feet into a remote Norwegian island in the Arctic, this is one of the world's largest and most secure vaults. Channel your inner Viking!

Fort Knox

Heavily protected and highly secured, Fort Knox is known as one of the world's most impenetrable storage vaults. Fortunate are you to have a depository of this caliber!

IV

The Telephone Building

Rooted in the history, ironwork, and lore of 101 W Canon Perdido itself.

Fages Medallion

Integral to the founding of Santa Barbara, a medallion of Pedro Fages sat above the Chapala portico until it was deconstructed in 1957. Could this be the hidden entrance to the 101 Society's speakeasy?

Griffin's Nest

Half-eagle and half-lion, these creatures were believed in ancient lore to guard hoards of gold, building their nests in remote mountains as rulers of both land and air — inaccessible to prospectors. The original Chapala portico features griffins within the sandstone relief. What eggs will you put in your guarded nest?

Dragon's Lair

The ultimate hoarders of wealth and knowledge in folklore, dragons represent primordial power, greed, and the ultimate test of worthiness for a hero. The Canon Perdido portico features dragons within the ironwork detail. Your realm is protected.

Templar's Keep

The Knights Templar formed during the Crusades and became the medieval world's elite bankers and protectors of wealth, often named as guardians of the Holy Grail or the Ark of the Covenant. The Templar's sword wields from the bay of your castle keep.

Canon Perdido

In 1848, De La Guerra buried a cannon that washed ashore to use as a potential means of revolt against the new American regime. Could this mysterious artifact be hiding in your vault?
